Kenaikan mendadak ini tidak akan menjejaskan permintaan Minyak dunia sekiraanya Negara  China tidak berbuat demikian dengan kadar yang segera. Inflasi Negara akan berlibat ganda dalam tempuh yang singkat manakala kadar Jenayah juga akan meningkat. Pasaran Eksport barangan buatan Malaysia telah terjejas akibat penurunan dollar Amerika, kini menghadapi cabaran yang lebih teruk. 

Memandangkan “disposable Income” menurun permintaan dalam negeri untuk sektor bukan asas dijangka turut terjejas akibat keputusan mendadak ini.

Apakah ertinya penjimatan RM 4.0 billion kepada Kerajaan apabila keuntungan PETRONAS hampir RM46 billion.  Berdasarkan suatu kajian antarabangsa Kos Angkat “Lifting Cost” iaitu Kos untuk mengeluarkan Minyak dari sumber ke permukaan ialah US$5.26 / tong di Timur Tengah. Petronas melaporkan Jualan Minyak mentah 192.4 million Tong dalam tahun 2007 dengan Jualan RM 45.4 billion, bermakna keuntungan kasar hampir RM37.0 billion dari penjualan Minyak Mentah sahaja.

Apakah ini hadiah kerajaan kerana Kemenangan dalam pilihanraya umum yang lepas. Meraka suka sangat menaikan harga daripada mencari penyelesaian jangka panjang.

Perasmian Projek Ternakan Kerang, Kg Tok Muda, Kapar

Kapar, 3/6/2008 – Y A B Tan Sri Dato Abd Khalid Ibrahim ,Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor merasmikan Projek Ternakan Kerang di Kampung Tok Muda, Kapar. Projek di bawah Jabatan Perikanan Negeri Selang telah membantu nelayan menambah pendapatan. Seluas 9,700 hektar daripada 41 ribu kawasan kerang Selangor hektar atau 194 lot dibangunkan dahulu dengan melibatkan 1,771 orang nelayan pantai. 

Hadir sama dalam majlis itu ialah Y.B. Dato` Ramli Bin Mahmud , Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Selangor, Y B Tuan Yaakob Sapari,  Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Tetap Pemodenan Pertanian, Pengurusan Sumber Alam Dan Pembangunan Usahawan,  Y B Sdr S Manikavasagam, Ahli Parlimen Kapar, Y.B. Tuan Dzulkefly Bin Ahmad ,Ahli Parlimen Kuala Selangor, Y B Dr Abd Rani bin Osman, Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (Meru) , Pn. Thalathiah bt. Hj. Saidin, Pengarah Jabatan Perikanan Negeri Selangor dan Ketua Bahagian PKR Kapar Tuan Hj Bakir.  

Seluas 41,000 hektar kawasan pesisir pantai negeri ini diperuntukkan bagi projek kebun kerang yang dibangunkan secara berperingkat, manakala 26,000 hektar yang lain dikekalkan sebagai kawasan pembenihan kerang secara semula jadi. Tahap pertama membabitkan 194 lot di kawasan seluas 9,700 hektar membabitkan 1,771 nelayan pantai. Projek ini dianggap sangat berpotensi kerana spesies kerang di Selangor, Anadaragramose, diiktiraf terbaik di dunia sehingga ia menjadi rebutan sama ada di negara jiran atau rantau lebih jauh.  

Kawasan Kapar dipilih kerana mempunyai banyak benih kerang terbaik terutama  bulan April dan Disember setiap tahun di garisan pasang surut air laut.  Benih kerang diambil menggunakan tangguk jaring bersaiz kecil semasa air surut bagi memerangkap pelbagai peringkat dan saiz benih yang diperlukan. Selepas itu benih kerang yang telah dikumpul, dikira dan direkodkan akan ditabur di kawasan plot atau dipanggil kebun yang ditetapkan. 

Terdapat dua buah plot yang diberikan oleh Jabatan Perikanan yang setiap satu seluas 50 hektar. Setiap satu plot diuruskan oleh 10 hingga 15 orang nelayan dan mereka perlu memenuhi keperluan pelanggan yang memerlukan purata dua tan kerang sehari. Benih kerang yang telah ditabur akan dibiarkan dan setiap dua bulan kawasan plot perlu digembur bagi membolehkan anak-anak kerang mendapatkan ruang dan makanan yang cukup untuk membesar. Jika terus dibiarkan, kerang tidak boleh bergerak bebas untuk mendapatkan makanan dan menyebabkan tumbesarannya terbantut. 

Biasanya kerang akan dituai selepas 12 hingga 14 bulan selepas benih ditabur di kawasan berkenaan. Menuai kerang bukan kerja mudah memandangkan sebuah bot dengan tiga orang pekerja diperlukan bagi menjalankan operasinya. Dua pekerja menggunakan bakul bagi mengaut kerang yang terdapat di kawasan lumpur di dasar laut.

Selepas dituai, kerang akan dibasuh dan dibersihkan menggunakan mesin bagi mengasingkan sampah sarap. Penggunaan mesin memudahkan kerja-kerja pembersihan yang sebelum ini dilakukan secara manual.

Menggunakan kaedah giliran, mereka akan menuai kerang di satu-satu kawasan selama empat bulan sebelum pindah ke kawasan satu lagi. Plot berkenaan dibahagi kepada beberapa bahagian dengan pancang kayu bagi memudahkan giliran menuai kerang. Ini akan membolehkan kerang membiak semula dan sumber kerang tidak terputus walaupun di luar musim. Biarpun benih kerang hanya didapati dengan banyak dalam bulan April dan November, benih akan dikumpul sebelum disimpan di kawasan plot. Ini penting bagi bekalan kerang sepanjang tahun dan bukan semua kawasan mempunyai benih kerang. Ini memandangkan satu kilogram anak kerang kira-kira 70,000 biji manakala satu kilogram kerang lebih kurang 60 hingga 70 biji.

Selepas setahun beroperasi, Nelayan Kampung Tok Muda boleh menarik nafas lega apabila usaha mereka telah mula membuahkan hasil. Kini mereka boleh menuai hasil sehingga 1.5 hingga dua tan kerang sehari mengikut keperluan. Biarpun tidak menggunakan modal yang banyak bagi tujuan penyelenggaraan tetapi kos mengumpul benih kerang agak tinggi. Kerang mendapat pasaran yang menggalakkan daripada peraih, pemborong dan orang perseorangan yang datang membeli sendiri. Kerang Kampung Tok Muda mendapat pasaran di Pasar Besar Klang, Pasar Kapar, Pasar Pandamaran dan Pasar Shah Alam.

 

Kg Kenangan – Penduduk Tidak Puas Pembahagian Tanah

Kapar – Penduduk -penduduk Kg Kenangan dan Kg Benteng telah menyatakan hasrat ketidakpuas hati mereka terhadap Pemberimilikan Tanah Kerajaan melalui surat Pejabat Daerah /Tanah Klang bertarikh 22/2/2008 dengan rujukan (1) dlm PTK 2/119/2007. Penduduk mendakwa surat pemilikan di berikan kepada mereka pada hari pengundian 8/3/2008.

Penduduk-penduduk berkenaan juga tidak  berpuas hati dengan pembahagian tanah kerana : 

a) Sebahagian Tanah di beri kepada ahli keluarga parti kerajaan lepas.

b) Sekelompok dari penerima milik bukan penduduk kampong tersebut

c) Penduduk terpaksa meroboh rumah – rumah kediaman mereka mengikut pembahagian ini. 

Selaku Ahli Parlimen Kapar, saya telah mengutas surat kepada Y A B Dato Menteri Besar Selangor untuk membatalkan arahan tersebut dengan serta-merta. Pejabat Y A B Dato Menteri Besar telah mengarahkan Pejabat Daerah/Tanah Klang untuk mengambil tindakan lanjut. 

 

Temple demolition: Report lodged against police ‘inaction’

A police report was filed today against Klang district police chief ACP Mohamad Mat Yusop for allegedly not acting on “tens of police reports” that have been lodged over a land transfer and clearance works involving the Sri Maha Nagamuthu Karumariamman temple near Jalan Kapar.

PKR’s Kapar member of Parliament S Manikavasagam filed the report this morning, a day after residents living near the 80-year-old temple and activists demonstrated against its planned demolition by the ‘owner’ of the temple.(LAND)

“Tens of police reports have been lodged over several years, but nothing has been done,” Manikavasagam told Malaysiakini.

According to Manikavasagam, workers for the current owner – who allegedly acquired the one-hectare land on which the temple stands through dubious means – had already broken parts of the roof of the temple and broken or taken down the statues contained inside.

“We’re still doing research regarding the owner, but we believe the owner is connected to a local state assemblyperson and has development plans for the land. We believe the land costs up to RM3 million, maybe more,” said Manikavasagam.

He said numerous police reports had been lodged since the temple caretaker E Muthu Kumar discovered the land was transferred to somebody else.

Muthu claimed that he had lived on the land for over 50 years and that his father had been given the land by its original landowner.

 

A protracted struggle

The original landowner, Harbhajan Singh, is said to have migrated to India in 1973 and died there in the 1980s.

In 1996, however, Muthu found that the land had earlier been transferred to one ‘Lin Chee Yong’, who obtained in 2000 a Shah Alam High Court order for the land to be vacated.

A protracted struggle then ensued between Lin and Muthu, which saw contempt charges as well as a spate of police reports being filed between the parties against the other.

In 2007, Muthu applied for the Shah Alam High Court to set aside its earlier decision on the basis that the land transfer was allegedly “fraudulently obtained”.

Muthu’s lawyer Dr SN Pathmanabhan said this claim was based on the finding that Harbhajan’s identity card (IC) number as contained in the memorandum of transfer to Lin actually belonged to a Chinese woman residing in Kuala Lipis, Pahang.

He also said that contrary to the practice of Punjabis of his generation, Harbhajan – who would have been in his 80s in 1996 – had written in “very precise English”.

“The signature, furthermore, did not look like that of an 80-plus year old but that of a much stronger, younger person,” he told Malaysiakini.

Pathmanabhan also said the payment of RM850,000 that Harbhajan allegedly received for the sale of his land actually never materialised.

Over and above all of these reasons, he added, was the fact that Harbhajan had died in India in the 1980s but supposedly entered in 1996 into a transaction to sell the land concerned.

 

Police inaction

Pathmanabhan said the Shah Alam High Court had set Aug 27 this year to hear the application to set aside the 2000 court order.

Parallel to the case, said Manikavasagam, his concern today was for the police to address the questions of Muthu and the patrons of the temple as to why they had not acted on the numerous reports lodged on Lin’s efforts to clear the land.

These efforts were taken despite the ongoing court proceedings and included efforts to dislodge Muthu, the disconnection of the temple’s water supply, and damage done to the gates and other parts of the temple building, he said.

On Oct 1, 2007, a police report was lodged claiming threats had been made to the lives of the Muthu and his family, Manikavasagam added.

“We lodged the police report against ACP Mohamad Mat because the police had not acted on that and the many other reports that had been lodged,” said Manikavasagam.

ACP Mohamad Mat could not be reached for comments.

 

Police Report Against Their Inaction

 

A police report was lodged at Klang Police Station by Kapar Member of Parliament.  The report made against Klang OCPD for his inaction on tens of police report by caretaker of Kuil Sri Nagamuthu Karumariamman Temple, 2nd Mile Jalan Kapar which was demolished by unscrupulous individuals.

 

The same report also made against Assistant Land Registrar on possibility of Fake Identity Card used as there is evidence that IC no of Original owner on the transfer form belongs to someone else.

 

A check thru our sources revealed that the said IC no (as in transfer form) belong to a Chinese Lady of 102 year old this year, while the transferee is Mr Harbhajan Singh.

 

Despite dissatisfaction shown by devotees yesterday and contempt of court Police failed to take any take any action against trespasser.

 

A New Tactic to Demolish Temple

 

 

Klang , 1/6/2008.  A peaceful demonstration was held by some 500 residents along Jalan Kapar (2nd mile) in protest on Demolishment of Sri Nagamuthu Karumariamman Temple. Police had blocked both entrance towards Jalan Kapar some 1 km away along with presence of FRU personnel’s.

 

This time the temple was not been touched by any Authorities but some individuals believed to be hired by developer. Residents claim the developer closely associated with Sementa ADUN (MLA). It is believed caretaker of the land and temple had lost their court case and was given until 9th June 2008 to relocate. The compound fully surrounded with zinc fencing and guarded.  A signboard showing Private Property and Trespassers with be prosecuted also erected. 

 

Cronological events that lead to the incident :       

 

Location of the land        : Geran Mukim 2166/ Lot 266 Mukim Kapar, Klang

Current Estimated land value  : RM 2.4 million

 

Land caretaker made a Police reports dated 08/03/2006 at Klang Station that he had been residising on the said land since 50years. The land belongs to Mr Harbhajan Singh whom handed over to caretakers father and migrated to India in 1973. It is understood Mr Singh had expired during the year 1980.  Caretaker found out  in 1996 Mr Harbhajan had transfer the land to Mr Lin Chee Yong whom later take court order to vacate the land . Suspecting foulplay , caretaker thru his lawyer search on the IC no written on land transfer form. Later which he found the it’s fake IC no used to transfer the said land.

 

25/3/2006 – a police report was launched by caretaker that a man identified as police ask his children why they didn’t vacate the land.

 

3/4/2006 – a police report was made that a security hut was build on the land, while Court case still in process.

 

11/4/2006 – a police report was launched on possible trespass since a Signboard was erected while a court case in process.

 

28/4/2006 – a police report was made as caretaker found that water meter was drown due to process of land clearing despite the court case still in process.

 

3/7/2006 – A police report made as a tractor and a lorry trespass the land for clearing purpose on instruction of “new owner” despite court case in process.

 

26/8/2006 – “New owner” had locked the main entrance despite court case in process. A police report was made.

 

14/9/2006 – A police report was made as “ new owner” locked the entrance while requesting police to take action to allow caretaker , family  to enter as usual. The case still in process.

 

18/9/2006 – A police report was made as “ new owner” locked the entrance while requesting police to take action to allow caretaker , family and devotees to enter. The case still in process.

 

28/8/2007 – A police report was launched to the safety of caretaker and his family as “new owner” and unidentified man accompanied him informing that earthworks will start soon. The caretaker are not allowed to be there.

 

01/09/2007 – Caretaker wife made police report. That a man had trespass the land with a motorcycle and a lorry which damaged the temple main gate. The Case still pending.

 

12/09/2007 – Developer had send 2 man with tools to make Zinc fence. Caretaker didn’t allow it. Police report was made to enable the matter referred to court.

 

15/09/2007 – a police report was made against trespass by 2 unidentified  man into the caretakers kitchen while he is away. The had uttered If you want to make report, doing it ” Kalau nak repot ,repotlah”.

 

01/10/2007 – a police report was made against developer whom threaten the life of caretaker and his family. Developer also discconected water supply. The company had used fake documents to transfer the said land. Police had not made any investigation on this matter despite numerous report lodged. He requested Police help to safe guard them until a court case over.

 

23/10/2007 –  A policeman accompanied Developer and allowed Developer to place Container Cabin on the site despite protest by caretaker . The said policeman had uttered harsh words when he tried to explain. A police report was lodged on this effect.

 

26/10/2007 – 4 man had informed caretaker that they wanted to cover the area with zinc fencing. This will obstructed caretaker from entering. A police report was launched.

 

15/1/2008 – the developer had entered into the site despite court case in process. Caretaker made police report on trespass.

 

11/5/2008 – Caretaker had lodged police report after he found that Developer had entered into the temple compound  by breaking the gate. The developer also had erected Zinc fence. They doesn’t allow anyone to enter despite Court Case still in pending. Caretaker worried they might touch temple and it’s belonging.

 

It made us to wonder, why police had not taken any action on the FAKE DOCUMENT complain at first place.  How can a land been transferred when the owner no longer reside in Malaysia.

 

MOST IMPORTANT – How can a individual businessman had so much authority whom was not been queried despite numerous police report lodged. Who is behind this person , that able to obstruct investigations. Who is the person behind that can instruct to demolish a temple ????
